I employ a collaborative coaching style. I believe there needs to be a good balance in the athlete’s life and triathlon training is only a part of that life. That said, there is a certain amount of discipline and dedication required to meet your potential. I work with the athlete to fit the training they need into an already busy schedule on a one-on one basis as everyone’s needs are different. I am committed to my athletes and expect them to be committed to their training.

I retired from the US Navy, so I am very aware of the challenges of fitting training into a busy lifestyle. My strengths are organization and time management, so I can help you find time in your hectic schedule to fit in the training you need to succeed. I have competed in triathlons for over 18 yrs. Distances have included everything from sprint to IRONMAN distance. I can help you make the leap!

I am a USAT Level II Endurance, US Master’s Swim Level 2 and Adult Learn to Swim, and IRONMAN certified coach and a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. I have a master’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus in biomechanics (UNLV) and hold a Training Peaks Level II Accreditation.
