I feel it is important to have a coach-athlete collaboration. Training should be a stress reliever, not add to your stress. Training should also be fun and should be something you look forward to, not dread. I work with you to see what time you have available to train and fit the sessions into your schedule. My training schedules are also very flexible. Once set up with an athlete, I provide a set of best practice guidelines and they are free to move their training around throughout the week if something unplanned comes up.
I respond to every workout my athletes complete to hold them accountable for their training. I also provide a weekly summary each weekend – what did they do well, what did they miss, etc. I provide them motivation by telling them how they have progressed and the purpose of the coming week’s workouts.
